CakeQuote

Booking protection for custom cake makers

Never bake for a client who hasn't signed and paid.

CakeQuote turns your cake quote into a signed contract with the deposit collected — in one link. Built for wedding & custom cake makers. Costing is free; the paid part is locking in the booking.

Build a profitable, on-brand quote on your laptop. The couple reviews it, signs your contract, and pays the deposit from their phone — the date isn't booked until it clears.

Booked — and paidThe deposit clears, the date locks. No more ghosting.

Representative screens — a directional look at the app, not the final design.

A handshake isn't a booking// the problem

You're booking $300–$900 cakes on a DM and a "sounds good!"

Then the client ghosts, moves the date, or cancels the week of — after you've bought the tiers, blocked the weekend, and turned down other orders. The free contract template you found still needs chasing for a signature, and the deposit is a "can you Venmo me?" that never comes.

A signed contract and a collected deposit is a booking. Everything else is hope. CakeQuote makes the professional version take one link.

How it works// three steps

01

Quote in a minute

Enter the cake — tiers, servings, design, date, delivery. CakeQuote itemizes it and shows your margin before you send, so every quote is profitable.

Costing free, forever
02

Client signs

Your quote becomes a branded contract with your terms — deposit amount, change-cutoff, cancellation policy. They e-sign from their phone.

03

Deposit clears

The deposit is collected via Stripe at signing. The date isn't booked until it does. Balance-due is tracked and the reminder is sent automatically.

Why CakeQuote// vs. the rest

Other cake apps track orders. CakeQuote protects the booking.

It's the only tool that closes quote → signed contract → deposit in one flow — the part that actually saves you from a cancelled wedding cake. No free template to chase signatures on, no separate invoice app, no "can you Venmo the deposit?"

Why I built this// the story

I'm not a baker — my mother-in-law is. She's run her own cake business for years, and I've lost count of how many times she's vented about a client going quiet or backing out after she'd already bought the ingredients and turned down other orders. A "sounds good!" text isn't a booking. I built CakeQuote so she — and bakers like her — don't have to eat that cost again.
